No Discovery.

The Beach Boys’ “Please Let Me Wonder,” the b-side of “Do You Wanna Dance?”, is added to its entry on the survey.

The British Invasion is still going strong: Freddie & the Dreamers and the Searchers make big leaps to join the Beatles, Herman’s Hermits and Dusty Springfield in the top ten.

“My Heart Keeps Following You” by folk group the Serendipity Singers did not make Billboard; it will peak at number 44 here.  Surf ballad “Carmen” by Bruce & Terry (Johnston & Melcher) was just number 107 at BB, but will get to number 18 here in a few weeks.  The other debuts were all top 50 Billboard hits, and all will do about as well here as there, except for pop-folk singer Glenn Yarbrough’s “Baby the Rain Must Fall,” which was number 12 nationally but will only make it to number 27 here—next week, after which it will fall off the survey.  And I guess I could mention that the Marianne Faithfull record was 26 BB and will get to 14 KJR, but that seems like I’m starting to get close to splitting hairs.
