Wayne Newton--Summer Wind

Sonny & Cher, after weeks at 48, 43 and 30, suddenly jump to number 8.  Bob Dylan debuts high.

All this week’s debuts were Hot 100 hits.  Wayne Newton once again does better in Seattle than nationally, as “Summer Wind,” a number 78 BB hit, will get to number 38 here.  On the other hand, “It’s the Same Old Song” by the Four Tops, a number 5 BB hit, will peak here at number 26.
