Chad & Jeremy  and the Byrds make big jumps into the top ten, while Herman’s Hermits debut at number 16, giving them three songs on the survey again.

All the debuts also made Billboard, though two only Bubbled Under.  “No, Not Much,” by TV’s Ben Casey, Vincent Edwards, will rise to number 15 over the next three weeks, then suddenly drop off; it was number 108 in Billboard.  And the Nashville Teens’ “The Little Bird” will be number 36 next week before dropping off; it only made number 123 at BB.

Seattle favorite Trini Lopez will reach number 13 on the survey with “Are You Sincere,” which stalled at number 85 in Billboard.  Vic Dana, after losing out to Wayne Newton in the “Red Roses For a Blue Lady” competition, returns to Seattle’s good graces with “Bring a Little Sunshine,” which will get to number 29 versus 66 nationally.  Also perhaps worth mentioning: Gerry & the Pacemakers’ “You’ll Never Walk Alone” (48 BB/25 KJR).

The b-side "Yes It Is" is dropped from the survey, leaving "Ticket to Ride" listed by itself for its final weeks.
