A big jump by the ever-popular Herman’s Hermits gives them two in the top ten again.

Apparently KJR was impatient for new Beatles material, and picked “Bad Boy,” from the Beatles VI album, to play.  It won’t get any higher than its number 19 this week, and will drop off after next week.  The other non-BB debut this week is a remake of “My Prayer” by Shelley Fabares, who by this point was no longer a regular on The Donna Reed Show and was married to record producer Lou Adler, who produced this one.  It’ll peak at number 35 next week.  The other debuts were all Top 40 hits at Billboard and all did comparably well there to what they will do here.
