Discovery: Beach Boys—She Knows Me Too Well

This week’s big leap is from 24 to 3 by the Four Seasons’ “Save it For Me.”

The only debut this week that didn’t make Billboard’s Hot 100 is “I Could Conquer the World” by Welsh group the Shevelles, which did bubble under at number 104 and here will get to number 44 in a couple of weeks.  Conversely, Jackie Ross’ “Selfish One” will also get to number 44 here but it hit number 11 in Billboard.  And this week's Discovery, the Beach Boys' "She Knows Me Too Well," which will reach number 15 here, was the b-side of "When I Grow Up (To Be a Man)" and made it only to number 101 in BB.  KJR, though, will stick with this side and "When I Grow Up," a national number 9 hit, will not appear here.
