Ramsey Lewis Trio--Hang On Sloopy

Only five debuts this week, and all made the Hot 100.  The biggest differences between there and here are country superstar Eddy Arnold’s “Make the World Go Away,” a number six Billboard hit that will only get to number 23 here, and “A Young Girl” by Noel Harrison (I was surprised to realize that this record was a year before he became a regular on The Girl From Uncle—I had always thought his recording career was capitalizing on his TV celebrity), which was a number 51 BB hit that will reach number 25 at KJR.
