Liverpool Five--If You Gotta Go, Go Now

The order of Jody Miller and Bonnie & the Treasures is reversed on “Home of the Brave,” not for the last time.

I’ve previously discussed Spokane’s British group, the Liverpool Five, here before.  “If You Gotta Go, Go Now” is a Bob Dylan song that many people recorded; the Liverpool Five’s version did not make Billboard but will get to number 42 here.  The other debuts were all Hot 100 hits, and all did about as well here as there except for “Little Miss Sad” by Michigan’s Five Emprees, AKA the Five Empressions.  It was a number 74 BB hit and will get up to number 21 here.
