As mentioned last week, “I Got You Babe” pops back into the survey after dropping out from number 11.  However, next week it’ll be gone for good.

The three non-northwest artists debuting this week all did about as well at Billboard as they will do here.  On the other hand, Paul Revere & the Raiders’ “Steppin’ Out,” which got to number 46 in BB and began their string of national hits, will do a bit better here and make it to number 24; Sir Walter Raleigh, dropping the “Cupons,” will peak at number 29 here with the non-BB “Tell Her Tonight” (and soon Dewey Martin would be leaving Seattle for Los Angeles and the Buffalo Springfield); and the Brothers Four will get up to number 17 with their non-BB version of “What Now My Love.”
