“Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band” becomes the fourth track from the album of the same name on the survey; it’ll peak next week at number 17.

The other five debuts were all top 25 Billboard hits and will all be top 25 hits here.  A few will do a bit better here than elsewhere: the Hollies’ “Carrie-Anne” (9BB/2KJR), Dusty Springfield’s “The Look of Love” (22/12) and Janis Ian’s “Society’s Child,” which we saw here last fall, (14/3).
