All the debuts were Hot 100 hits—actually they were all Top 40.  That doesn’t leave a lot of room for large discrepancies in popularity, and actually none will get significantly higher here than they did nationally, but three of them will do significantly worse.  The Four Seasons’ “Opus 17,” a number 13 BB hit, will stall out at number 29 here; Frank Sinatra’s “Strangers in the Night,” which was a number one Billboard hit, will only get to number 13; and the Supremes’ “Love is Like an Itching in My Heart,” number nine in Billboard, will only make it up to number 28.
