As mentioned last time, “You Baby” returns after a one-week hiatus.

The Beatles’ version drops off of the entry for “Michelle,” which will drop off the survey next week.  The Newbeats’ “Shake Hands” and the Sheep’s “Hide and Seek” both drop off the survey this week despite fairly high positions last week (18 and 21).

“Secret Agent Man” is now a combined entry, with Johnny Rivers’ version joining the Ventures.

All the debuts were Hot 100 Billboard hits—all top 50, in fact.  Most will closely match their national positions here—2/2, 3/3, 1/1, 32/29, 30/31, and 36/38.  The one exception is Elvis Presley’s “Please Don’t Stop Loving Me,” a number 45 BB hit that will make it up to number 16 here.
