Classics IV--Everyday With You Girl

Elvis makes a big leap.

All the debuts were Hot 100 hits.  The smallest, both nationally and locally, was Steppenwolf’s “It’s Never Too Late,” a number 51 BB hit that’ll go to number 30 here next week and then vanish.  “Let Me” by Paul Revere & the Raiders peaked at number 20 in Billboard, but here it’ll get up to number four, spending 15 weeks on the survey.  The Friends of Distinction’s version of “Grazing in the Grass” was a number three hit nationally, but here it’ll top out at number 19.  The others will perform pretty consistently with their national peaks, though it might be worth mentioning that “Israelites” will get up to number three versus number nine.
