Last week’s number 15 song, “Time of the Season,” drops all the way off this week.

Andy Williams’ version of “Happy Heart” drops off, leaving Petula Clark on her own.

More than two years before their first appearance on the Billboard singles chart, Jethro Tull debut here with “Love Story,” which will peak at number 41.  I am not aware of any other US Top 40 stations playing it.

The other debuts were all Top 40 BB hits.  One will do significantly better here than nationally (“The River is Wide” by the Grass Roots, 31/11), and one will do significantly worse (“Oh Happy Day” by the Edwin Hawkins Singers, 4/35).
