“Sweet Cherry Wine” makes a big leap.

Petula Clark’s version of “Happy Heart” joins Andy Williams’ as a single entry; this is the first time we’ve seen that in a while.  Together they’ll climb slightly to number 39, then Andy will drop off and Petula will inch up to number 35 on her own.  Nationally, Andy peaked at number 22 and Petula at 62.

One debut was not a Billboard hit: husky-voiced folk-rock love song “Oh, Deed I Do” by Elyse Weinberg, which will make it to number 27.  The calypso-ish “Day After Day” by Los Angeles band Shango will peak at number 21 in two weeks and then vanish; nationally it only made it to number 57.  “Badge” by Cream, a number 60 BB hit, will get up to number 16 here.  Led Zeppelin’s “Good Times Bad Times” only made it to number 80 in Billboard, but here it’ll go to number 27.
