“Love is Blue” drops off the survey after 20 weeks—the first record we’ve seen last that long.  “Tip-Toe Thru’ the Tulips With Me” drops also drops off, after seemingly having peaked last week at number 38, but it’ll be back in two weeks and then rise to number twelve.

Andy Kim, best remembered today for co-writing “Sugar, Sugar,” debuts with “How’d We Ever Get This Way” (21BB/4KJR), the first of his string of six 1968-69 classic bubblegum hits, all of which will do significantly better here than nationally.  Engelbert Humperdinck will do a bit better here than in Billboard with “A Man Without Love” (19BB/7KJR), while Wilson Pickett’s “She’s Lookin’ Good” (15BB/26KJR) and Richard Harris’ “MacArthur Park” (2BB/8KJR) will come up a bit short.

“Honey,” by the way, is in its fifth week at number one, but it’s not done yet.
