Several records debut in the 20s this week.  “Snoopy vs. the Red Baron” drops off from number 27, just two weeks after being number six and three weeks after being number one.

The Davie Allan & the Arrows version, a number 99 BB hit, of “Theme From ‘The Wild Angels’” joins the Ventures’ version on the survey as a joint entry.  They’ll get up to number 15.

Despite being an extremely direct drug song, “That Acapulco Gold” by Denver’s The Rainy Daze hit the Hot 100, rising to number 70, and will do much better here, peaking at number 14.

The only other debut this week with a significant discrepancy in its positions is Brian Hyland’s “Hung Up in Your Eyes,” which was a number 58 hit in Billboard and will get to number 29 here.
