Discovery: Gerry & the Pacemakers—Don’t Let the Sun Catch You Crying

The goodtimey, pop-folk “Walk Walk” by the Freewheelers didn’t make the Billboard Hot 100, getting stuck at number 119 on the Bubbling Under chart, but here at KJR it will peak at number 28 in two weeks.  The Beach Boys’ “Don’t Worry Baby” was the b-side of “I Get Around,” but at KJR it got played first, with “I Get Around” joining it on the survey in two weeks.  It only got to number 24 at BB, but we’ll see it hit number 6 here.  Washington State’s Jimmie Rodgers only reached number 51 at BB with “The World We Used to Know,” while it will be number 16 here in four weeks.
