Discovery: Brian Poole & the Tremeloes—Someone, Someone

“Who” by brother/sister team Nino Tempo and April Stevens, which did not make Billboard, will peak here next week at number 27.

The Beatles’ “I’ll Cry Instead” will drop off the KJR survey next week, then return and make its way up to number 6.  It only got to number 25 at Billboard, probably due to a glut of Beatles singles that summer.  And this week's Discovery, the Tremeloes' "Someone, Someone," barely cracked the BB Hot 100 at number 97, while here it will reach number 20.  It seems to me that the British Invasion hit Seattle a little bit harder than it did most US markets.
