Pipkins--Gimme Dat Ding

All the debuts were Hot 100 hits, though one didn’t make it with a lot to spare.  “Some Beautiful” by H.R. Pufnstuf star Jack Wild was a number 92 Billboard hit; it will get to number 35 here.  Bobby Sherman’s “Hey, Mister Sun” will beat its number 24 national peak and go to number twelve.  And I guess it’s worth mentioning that number nine BB hit “Gimme Dat Ding” by the Pipkins will spend two weeks at number two.
