Glass Bottle--Love For Living

“Ride Captain Ride” suddenly catches fire, going 49-38-31-23 and now four.

For the first time we have an entire album on the survey, as Let it Be debuts at number 41.  I assume this means that KJR was playing various tracks from it (in addition to the three that are on the survey individually).  It will peak at number 17.  Between now and 1974, six more LPs will appear.

Vic Dana makes his last appearance on the survey with his version of Neil Diamond’s “Red Red Wine,” a number 72 BB hit that will get up to number 15.  “Love For Living,” a pop ballad by New Jersey group the Glass Bottle, stopped at number 109 nationally but will make it to number 43 here.
