Miguel Rios--A Song of Joy (Himno a la Alegria)

Only three debuts this week.  Papa John Phillips’ “Mississippi,” number 32 in Billboard, will reach number eleven.  Southern California group Feather seemed to be trying for a CSN vibe with “Friends,” a number 79 BB hit that will get to number 24.  And Spanish singer Miguel Rios had a huge worldwide hit with “A Song of Joy,” based on Beethoven’s 9th Symphony; it wasn’t as huge in the US, stopping at number 14, and will only make it to number 21 on our survey.
