“Darkness, Darkness” by the Youngbloods, number 86 at Billboard, will get up to number 14.  The Carpenters’ first appearance on either the Hot 100 or the Fabulous 50, a remake of the Beatles’ “Ticket to Ride,” will also get to number 14 here, versus its number 54 BB peak.  Also worth mentioning: “Little Green Bag” by Dutch group the George Baker Selection (21BB/8KJR), “For the Love of Him” by pop singer Bobbi Martin (13/7), “My Baby Loves Lovin’” by White Plains (13/3), and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young’s “Woodstock” (11/21).
