“American Woman” is joined on the survey by its b-side “No Sugar Tonight,” which will share its spot for the remainder of their time.

All five of the week’s debuts will do at least a little bit better here than nationally.  Mac Davis’ first hit, “Whoever Finds This, I Love You,” number 53 in Billboard, will get to number 23.  Mark Lindsay’s third solo hit, “Miss America,” number 44 BB, will make it to number 15.  Another crossover hit for Johnny Cash, “What is Truth,” number 19 in Billboard (number three country), will go to number eight.  “Hitchin’ a Ride” by Vanity Fare, number five nationally, will peak at number two and spend 20 weeks on the survey.  And Glen Campbell’s version of “Oh Happy Day” will get to number 32, beating its number 40 BB peak.
