This is the final week on the survey for “Raindrops Keep Fallin’ On My Head,” which is the last record here which debuted in 1969.  From here on, it’s all seventies, all of the time.

Two of the week’s debuts will do noticeably better here than nationally: “Them Changes” by singer/drummer Buddy Miles (later the voice of the California Raisins) (81BB/42KJR) and “Grover Henson Feels Forgotten” by Bill Cosby (70/34).  Two will do noticeably worse: Joe Cocker’s version of “The Letter” (7/18) and Tyrone Davis’s “Turn Back the Hands of Time” (3/27).

One double-sided CCR hit debuts while another fades.  Next week they’ll pass each other.
