California Earthquake--What a Beautiful Feeling

“Fortunate Son” drops off the Creedence listing for this one week only.

Two of the debuts only Bubbled Under at Billboard.  Pop-rock singer Pat Shannon’s “Back to Dreamin’ Again” will be number 48 again next week, then drop off the survey; it stopped at number 103 in Billboard (it was a big hit in San Bernardino).  Pop-rock band California Earthquake’s “What a Beautiful Feeling” will rise to number 45 next week, then drop off; it only made it to number 133 nationally (it was a big hit in Birmingham).

Two of the other debuts were huge soul hits which will be a little less huge here.  Sly & the Family Stone’s “Thank You”/”Star” was a number one BB hit that we will see stop at number eleven, while Eddie Holman’s “Hey There Lonely Girl,” number two nationally, will peak at number ten.
