The second consecutive week with very little change—seven songs stay in the same place, ten move up or down one spot, and eight move up or down two spots.

“Tapioca Tundra” drops off, leaving “Valleri” by itself for its final three weeks on the survey (it will sink quickly from this week’s number seven ranking).

Two weeks ago “La-La-Means I Love You” by the Delfonics peaked at number 17; last week it was number 19; this week it’s gone.

“Goin’ Away,” the Fireballs’ follow-up to “Bottle of Wine,” is spending its only week on the survey, at number 41; in Billboard it peaked at number 79.  “Friends” by the Beach Boys was a number 47 BB hit, while here it’ll get to number 26.

The songs at number 49 and 50 will each stay in the same position next week, and then drop off the survey.  Nationally, though, they were not at all similar—“Sweet Inspiration” was a number 18 BB hit, while “Slick” was just number 119.  (“Slick” was the b-side of “Cabaret,” a number 72 Billboard hit that did not get played at KJR.)
