“Something in the Air” drops to the ground, from number eight to number 33.

As previously mentioned, “Fortunate Son” gives way to its a-side, “Down on the Corner.”

Bread will not have a national hit until June of 1970, but here at KJR “Could I” will get up to number 18.  On the other hand, “Going in Circles” by the Friends of Distinction, number 15 in Billboard, will get no higher than number 43.

With Bread and Led Zeppelin debuting, the 1970s seem imminent…
