Beach Boys--I Can Hear Music

“You Gave Me a Mountain” and “You’ve Made Me So Very Happy” debut in consecutive spots; I’m not sure which is the better statement to have someone make to you.

Frankie Laine’s “You Gave Me a Mountain” and the Beach Boys’ “I Can Hear Music” both peaked at number 24 in Billboard, and both will do better here—number twelve for Frankie and number six for the Boys.  “You’ve Made Me So Very Happy” spent three weeks at number two in BB, but will stop at number ten here.  “Hair” by the Cowsills also peaked at number two nationally, spending two weeks there, but here at KJR it’ll spend four weeks at number one and 18 weeks on the survey.
