“I’m a Man” returns to the survey after a week off.

“Return of the Red Baron” drops off from number 20.

Only four debuts, so I might as well mention them all.  The Mamas & Papas’ autobiographical “Creeque Alley,” a number five national hit, will peak at number 17 here.  “Melancholy Music Man” by the Righteous Brothers got to number 43 in Billboard and will get to number 34 here.  “Somebody to Love” by the Jefferson Airplane, which seems to be one of the records most used by people trying to evoke 1967, will gradually rise to number six on our survey, not quite equaling its number five BB peak.  And “Love Me Forever” by Roger Williams, number 60 in Billboard, will peak here next week at number 35.

There are three songs on the survey with the word “song” in their titles, and three with the word “music.”
