Forum--The River is Wide
|
Another week with only four debuts, so again I will mention
them all. “She’d Rather Be With Me” by
the Turtles peaked at number three in eleven weeks on the BB Hot 100, and it
will peak at number three in eleven weeks here on the Fab 50. “New York Mining Disaster 1941,” the first
appearance both in Billboard and here by the Bee Gees, was a number 14 hit
there and will get to number ten here.
The Lovin’ Spoonful’s “Six O’Clock,” a number 18 national hit, will only
make it to number 39 here. And “The
River is Wide” by California one-hit wonders the Forum will get to number 33
here versus its number 45 showing in BB.
