Only four debuts.  “Close to You” by the Carpenters, number one for four weeks nationally, will hold the top spot for seven weeks here and spend 19 weeks on the survey.  “Love On a Two-Way Street” by New Jersey soul vocal group the Moments, number three in Billboard, will only get to number 28.  Bread’s “Make it With You,” number one for one week in BB, will spend two weeks at number two, and 19 weeks on the survey.  And “The Witch” (not the Sonics’ song) by German band the Rattles, number 79 at Billboard, will go to number twelve.
