“Snoopy vs. the Red Baron” debuts way up at number eight; whereas in Billboard it spent four weeks at number two, stuck behind “I’m a Believer,” here it’ll spend seven weeks at number one, with “I’m a Believer” stuck behind it the entire time.

All the debuts were Hot 100 hits.  The biggest discrepancy in peaks is that of good-timey blues “Grizzly Bear” by the Youngbloods, which peaked at number 52 in Billboard but will make it up to number 19 here.  The only other even slightly significant differences are all in the other direction: “Words of Love” by the Mamas & Papas (5BB/16KJR), ? & the Mysterians’ follow-up to “96 Tears,” “I Need Somebody” (22/36), and Wilson Pickett’s “Mustang Sally” (23/38).
