All six of the week’s debuts were top 30 Billboard hits, and most will do about as well here as there. The exceptions are Marvin Gaye’s “Inner City Blues” (9BB/29KJR) and Santana’s “Everybody’s Everything” (12/21).

David Cassidy and Michael Jackson debut with their first solo hits. David’s joins three Partridge Family songs on the survey.
