Elton John--Your Song

Elton John makes his first appearance on the survey, though not for long…”Your Song,” a number eight national hit, will go to number 43 next week and then drop off.  The other debuts will all do at least slightly better here than in Billboard: “Theme From Love Story” (31BB/3KJR), Edison Lighthouse’s “It’s Up to You Petula” (72/27), the Mike Curb Congregation’s “Burning Bridges” (34/13), and Judy Collins’ version of “Amazing Grace” (15/12).
