There’s one debut this week that did not make the Billboard chart at all: “The Fate of the Mightiest Nation” by comedy team Hudson & Landry, a serious spoken-word piece by one of the two, apparently Hudson, talking in vague terms about what seems to be the US under Nixon until you get to the end and (SPOILER ALERT) learn that he’s talking about the Roman Empire. It’ll spend two weeks here in the “And” category.

Also worth mentioning are “Sister James” by Nino Tempo (best known for his duets with his sister April Stevens) & the 5^th Ave. Sax, a near-instrumental that got to Number 53 nationally and will spend three weeks as an “And,” and “West Coast Woman” by Calgary rock group Painter, a Number 79 Billboard hit that will be an “And” for four weeks.
