Billy
Preston--Will it Go Round in Circles |
Vicki Lawrence’s “The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia” falls off the survey from all the way up at number ten. I guess people suddenly realized they were sick of it.
Only three debuts this week. Alice Cooper’s “No More Mr.
Nice Guy” (25BB/7KJR), “You’ll Never Get to Heaven” by the Stylistics (23/27),
and Billy Preston’s “Will it Go Round in Circles” (1/2).
The first three 45s I ever bought are now on the survey, at
numbers 5, 31, and 33. Not long after that I also bought numbers 3, 28, and 35.
