People got tired of Bobby Vinton’s “Sealed With a Kiss” in a hurry—two weeks ago it peaked at number ten, last week it was 18, now it’s gone.

Seven debuts this week, all of which got at least slightly higher here than nationally, except for Helen Reddy’s “I Am Woman,” a number one BB hit that will stop at number six. The others: “No” by NY rock group Bulldog (44/24), the Eagles’ “Witchy Woman” (9/1), Lobo’s “I’d Love You to Want Me” (2/1), “Starting All Over Again” by Mel & Tim (19/10), “Can’t You Hear the Song?” by Wayne Newton (48/30), and the National Lampoon’s parody of “Desiderata,” “Deteriorata” (91/38).
