Steve and Eydie’s “We Can Make it Together” was just a number
68 Billboard hit (though it got to number seven on the Easy Listening chart)
but will get to number 26 here. “If You Leave Me Tonight I’ll Cry” by Jerry
Wallace will get up to number 24 rather than its national peak of 38, and Bobby
Vinton’s remake of “Sealed With a Kiss” will make it to ten rather than 19.
Bill Withers’ “Use Me,” number two for two weeks in Billboard, will stall at
number seven. That leaves the O’Jays’ “Backstabbers,” which will exactly equal
its number three national peak.
