Grass Roots--Glory Bound

Another week of changes, as the top four change completely and Carole King jumps from 33 to 10. Plus there’s nine debuts.
All the debuts were Top 50 Billboard hits except one, the Kinks’ “20th Century Man,” which only got to number 106 there but will hit number 40 here. There’s enough variation among the others that I’m going to mention them all: “Softly Whispering I Love You” by the English Congregation (29BB/13KJR), David Cassidy’s “Could it Be Forever” (37/10), “Floy Joy” by the Supremes (16/20), Paul Simon’s first solo hit “Mother and Child Reunion” (4/7), “Rock and Roll Lullaby” by B.J. Thomas (15/4), “Love Me, Love Me Love” by Frank Mills (46/4), “Roundabout” by Yes (13/25), and “Glory Bound” by the Grass Roots (34/15).
