Exceptions: Sha Na Na’s “Only One Song,” which sounds nothing like you’d expect a Sha Na Na record to sound--it was a number 110 “hit” in Billboard that will peak here at number 41; “Want Ads” by Honey Cone, a number one national hit that will only make it to number 17 here (though it will spend 14 weeks on the survey); and “Wholesale Love’ by Buddy Miles, which will spend five weeks on the survey, all between number 40 and number 42—nationally it only made number 71.
