Bette Midler--Do You Want to Dance?

Each of the week’s debuts peaked at exactly or almost
exactly the same spot in Billboard as it will here, with two exceptions. “Boogie
Woogie Man” by Paul Davis only reached number 68 nationally but we’ll see it
get to number 5 on the survey. And Rita Coolidge’s “My Crew” was the b-side of
her version of “Fever,” a number 76 BB hit; “My Crew” was listed along with “Fever”
for two of the record’s seven weeks on the Hot 100 chart, a double-sided hit.
KJR preferred “My Crew,” and it’ll peak here at number 31.
